DUTCH Hormone Testing
$500
DUTCH stands for Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones. It is a simple, at-home urine test that helps us understand your hormones, stress patterns, and how your body processes hormones.
What does the DUTCH test measure?
The DUTCH test looks at:
- Sex hormones: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA
- Adrenal (stress) hormones: cortisol throughout the day
- Hormone metabolism: how your body breaks down and clears hormones
- Melatonin (in some panels): your sleep hormone
This gives us a much more complete picture than blood testing alone.
Why is this test helpful?
The DUTCH test can help identify:
- Hormone imbalances
- Low or high cortisol (stress hormone) patterns
- Issues with estrogen metabolism
- Signs of adrenal stress or burnout
- Possible contributors to symptoms such as:
- Fatigue
- Poor sleep
- Weight changes
- Mood changes
- PMS or menopausal symptoms
- Brain fog
- Low libido
How does the test work?
Step 1 — You receive your kit
Your test kit will be mailed to you and includes:
- Urine collection strips/cards
- A small collection cup
- Easy-to-follow instructions
- A prepaid return envelope
Step 2 — Collect your samples at home
You will collect small urine samples at specific times during one day (most tests):
- First thing in the morning
- Midday
- Afternoon
- Evening
- Before bed
How to collect:
- Urinate into the cup.
- Place a few drops of urine onto the collection card.
- Let it air dry.
- Repeat at each time listed in your instructions.
Step 3 — Mail your samples back
Once your samples are dry, place them in the provided envelope and mail them to the lab.
What about cycle mapping (for menstruating women)?
If you are doing DUTCH Cycle Mapping, you will collect samples on 5 different days across your menstrual cycle. This helps us see how your hormones change from period to ovulation to the luteal phase.
What happens after the test?
Once your results are ready, your provider will review them with you and may recommend:
- Nutrition or lifestyle changes
- Supplements to support hormones, liver, or adrenals
- Stress or sleep strategies
- Bioidentical hormone therapy (if appropriate)
Why urine instead of blood?
- Blood gives a single moment in time.
- DUTCH shows your daily hormone patterns and metabolism, which is more comprehensive and useful for personalized care.

Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA)
$150
At Willow Sage Health & Wellness, we believe true wellness starts at the cellular level. Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a powerful, non-invasive test that provides a detailed look at your body’s mineral balance and toxic metal exposure—offering deep insight into your overall health.
What is HTMA?
HTMA is a simple lab test that analyzes a small sample of your hair to measure levels of essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, sodium, and potassium, along with potential toxic elements like mercury, lead, and aluminum.
Because hair reflects mineral patterns over time, HTMA gives a long-term view of what’s happening inside your body, rather than just a snapshot like blood work.
Why Minerals Matter
Minerals play a critical role in nearly every function of the body, including:
- Energy production
- Hormone balance
- Thyroid function
- Nervous system regulation
- Detoxification pathways
- Metabolism and weight management
Even subtle imbalances can contribute to symptoms that often go unexplained.
What Can HTMA Reveal?
HTMA can help uncover:
- Chronic fatigue and low energy
- Hormonal imbalances
- Thyroid dysfunction patterns
- Adrenal stress and burnout
- Inflammation and oxidative stress
- Detoxification challenges
- Nutrient deficiencies or excesses
- Heavy metal toxicity
This test is especially valuable when you’re not feeling your best but traditional labs come back “normal.”
Your Personalized Wellness Plan
At Willow Sage, we don’t just test—we guide you. Your HTMA results are interpreted through a functional wellness lens and used to create a customized protocol tailored to your body’s needs.
